Classic cake sale

Who doesn’t like cake? From cookies to chocolate brownies, get baking and sell them in your office or at the local community centre.

Comedy night

Give everyone a great laugh while raising money. Extra tip for those of you living in Dublin: you should ask the nice people at the Laughter Lounge to organise the night for you.

Entertain your friends and family

Hold a karaoke night or a speed-dating night. Test your friends’ knowledge by hosting a table quiz – we have plenty of questions and answers to get you started.

Dressing up (or down)

Take the complication out of what to wear in the morning by getting sponsored to wear your pajamas into school or work.

Music night

With so much talent around, you could get a venue and start contacting bands on Facebook. Charge an entry fee and dance the night away.

Church gate collection

You’ll need to get a permit but we can help you get organised – just contact us. We’ll be happy to help.

Bag packing

Ask your local supermarket if you can pack bags for customers in return for a small donation.

Invite friends and family to make a donation in return for a bite to eat and some fun in the sun, or rain (depending on where you live).

Get sponsored

Instead of holding an event, you could raise money by doing a sponsored activity. Shave your head, give up talking for a day, do a sponsored cycle – whatever you think will work. To organise a sponsored activity, all you need is an idea and a sponsorship form and you’re away!
