Climb4Concern: Trek Machu Picchu

12 October 2018 to 22 October 2018

Trek Machu Picchu is one of the world's most popular charity challenges and it's easy to see why. Words can't describe the feeling of setting eyes on the fabulous lost city of Machu Picchu for the first time.

Climb4Concern: Machu Pichu

The challenge

This trek to reach the lost city of Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic in the world. Our journey on the Salkantay trail is widely considered the most beautiful route to the ruins. The trek is defined by massive snow-capped mountains which collide with lush tropical rainforests. Our adventure includes four days of trekking from the base of the sacred Salkantay mountain, considered by locals to be the “Guardian Spirit of the Andes” and will finish at Machu Picchu.

Other ways of life

The expedition will start with two nights in Cusco, the ancient Inca capital. Our journey will take us through many traditional villages, giving us an opportunity to meet with friendly locals and learn about their way of life.
