Be a hero this June bank holiday
What will you be doing this June bank holiday? How would you like to whizz through the streets of Dublin with the wind in your hair, and a few thousand of the most determined women in Ireland beside you?
On Monday, 3rd June 2013, the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon will take place in Dublin city centre. The event will see thousands of women come together to run, jog and walk 10 kilometres for the causes they believe in. You could be one of them.
Run with us
Join us as we pound the pavements for a cause that’s close to all of our hearts – Concern’s 1000 DAYS campaign. This is a programme which focuses on the 1,000 days from pregnancy to a child’s second birthday. It’s the vital period when improving nutrition can transform the lives of children, families and communities.
How to join in
Grab some friends or co-workers and join in the fun. It’s a great day and an excellent way to show your concern for children in the world’s poorest countries. We’d love to see you there! To register, all you need to do is email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and tell us the following:
- Your name
- Your date of birth
- Your contact number
- Your T-shirt size
- Whether you want to be a jogger or a walker
Get in touch with us by 30 March and we’ll sign you up and take care of the details. All that’s left to do is spread the word: get your friends and family to show their support by sponsoring you. It’s that simple!
